Gun traffic is one of the most profitable business around the world as a drugs and human trade. Looking for some statistics I found that small arms manufacturing in US represents roughly a $2 billion dollars a year industry. Everybody knows that the companies involve as National Rifle Association, have a lot of politic influence in the government. I think It is the main reason because have been difficult to obtain a restriction gun police in US. But also because from this commerce is derived a lot of other international business as for example: The "private's army forces".
Private's army Forces (mercenaries) earns 100 thousand millions dollars each year, a quarter of the total amount inverted by US in the millitary field (400 thousand millions dollars) and have become a new way to make war and money in this century. http://hamptonroads.com/node/66331
It can be a good way to put the public money in the hands of private finances.
The death is a day by day deal, the consequences of this huge problem everybody knows and everybody is tired of listening: people die, who doesn't die is tortured, wounded or stolen or has to become a refugee by the hand of the war that we are financing, direct or indirectly.
How really knows where is his/her money?. Taxes are going to the financial capital and then....
I don't wish to know who has been murdered by the hand of the taxes that I have been paid in order to be a good citizen.

I think that by making governments take measures as the approval of the law for gun controlling, people can help to gain control over, which is a moral problem, the final destiny of their money.
wow, it is really a good article. Governments use taxes which citizens pay to "hurt" them in others ways. Because some organizations has influence in government make crimes to wound people, like terrorism. Personally, some high level officers in government really want to gun freedom, and then they can get benefits from not only in selling guns, but in other ways like diplomacy. I strongly agree with you, and governments should control guns. It is really necessary both for residents and countries. On the other hand, government will use citizens' taxes in correct ways rather than wrong directions

I agree; yet, I wonder whether such a sobering list might work as an impetus to change? In other words, although we are all tired of hearing about it, how can we make it relevant in a way that leads to real change? Also, interesting point about the final destiny of one's money being a moral concern.

May be is better to say I wouldn't like to know... When I think about this kind of topics I have a shivering sensation in my whole body.
Even though, I am a little pessimist of course I think there are many ways to help to resolve these problems and one of its is support practical measures like the control gun law in US.
Also there are many other ways to help and for starting it could be by applying a critic thought in our own lifes.
In my opinion, I agree with your idea about what is basic problem that lead terroism make terrible event in some developed country. You mentioned that some members of governmrnt sell guns for wondeful benefits. It is truth that happened in every country.So, the final idea is money make gun countrol more complex.

I like your point of view about without being aware of that, we are encourage the growth of the gun industry through the taxes payment, but also supporting governments that promote to use guns. Moreover, I agree with you regarding that one of the solutions of this problem is to strengthen gun control.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I think we can not leave the whole responsability of reduction of violence in hand of the governments. We also can be part of the solution, through make people be aware of the disadvantages and risks of using guns.
